Atlanta Braves at Arizona Diamondbacks

The Braves pulled off the win last night to force the rubber match in this series. It hasn’t been a great road trip for Atlanta as they are just 2-3, including losing two of three in Oakland. It took a long time for Michael Soroka to get back to the majors, but his first start since 2020 didn’t go well, allowing four earned to the Athletics in the loss.

The Diamondbacks continue to be one of the most-improved teams from last season and are competing with the Dodgers for first place. Zac Gallen is putting up Cy Young numbers so far as he’s top four in wins, WHIP, and ERA, with a chase rate in the 82nd percentile and a strikeout rate in the 78th.

That strikeout ability will help him against an Atlanta lineup that’s 19th in strikeout percentage and push the D-Backs to a win.

Parlay Odds: +648

Colorado Rockies at Kansas City Royals

The Rockies came into this series fresh off being swept in a four-game series against the Diamondbacks, but now they’re on the verge of sweeping the Royals. They’ll send up Kyle Freeland, and surprisingly, he pitches better in the Mile High City better than on the road and is  1-4 with a 5.40 ERA away from  Denver.

It hasn’t been much better for Kansas City this season, and they’re on a rough stretch having lost 10 of their last 13. It was a breakout season in 2022 for Brady Singer, but he couldn’t transition that into this year. He has a few quality starts, but he’s allowed more hits than innings pitched, his hard hit percentage is in the first percentile, and his expected batting average is in the fifth.

The Rockies will be able to overcome the possible ineffectiveness of Freeland.

Parlay Odds: +614

New York Yankees at Los Angeles Dodgers

The Yankees brought offense in support of Gerrit Cole to tie this series on Saturday. The offense has been great recently and had three straight games where they scored ten runs and are averaging 6.6 runs over their last six games. Domingo German will take the mound, and in his first game back from suspension, he was okay to give up four earned in a win.

The Dodgers’ offense has also been playing well, scoring 6.8 runs in their last seven. Bobby Miller has been great to start his MLB career, grabbing wins in both of his starts with a 1.64 ERA.

Miller took down the power of the Braves lineup in his debut, and now he’ll have to do it again.

Parlay Odds: +501
