MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (6/15)

With another strong Thursday MLB slate, let’s look at our top-three Same Game Parlays (SGPs) on tap for today.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles

The Blue Jays will face off against the Orioles this afternoon to decide the winner of this three-game series. Two solid pitchers are on the mound in this game, with Yusei Kikuchi (6-2 Record) for the Jays and Tyler Wells (3.24 ERA) for the Orioles. Look for these pitchers to take over this game, as hits should come at a premium. I expect Kikuchi to keep the Orioles hitters off balance and have a good day for the Jays with another quality start.

It was a tale of two games for Jays’ Daulton Varsho in this series. Yesterday, he went 0-3 in the game after a strong 3-4 performance with two doubles in Tuesday’s game. Look for him to bounce back and have a busy night at the plate in the heart of the Jay’s order with a plus-matchup against the righty Wells. I have him knocking in a run in this game. On the other side, I like Anthony Santander to record a hit at this price. Santander is a solid batter, especially against lefties, where he is batting .304 with an OPS of 1.008. Look for Toronto to control this game behind Kikuchi and Varsho on the way to cashing this parlay.

Chicago White Sox at Los Angeles Dodgers

The White Sox will visit Los Angeles to play Game 3 of this series after each team took a game the previous two nights. Dylan Cease will be on the hill for the White Sox as the struggling Michael Grove will look for his first win of the season. Grove had some struggles with the Yankees and Phillies in his last couple of starts (four ER in each game), but I expect him to bounce back and have some more success against an erratic White Sox lineup (.236 team average). I like OF David Peralta to have a good night at the plate with a plus-matchup against the righty. Peralta is having a solid year batting .266 and shows good discipline at the plate. I expect him to have a hit or two batting in the middle of this Dodgers lineup.

Also, look for Freddie Freeman to take advantage of the plus-matchup against the righty. I have him knocking in a run today. Take the Dodgers confidently in this one coming off a loss last night.

Parlay Odds: +550

Pittsburgh Pirates at Chicago Cubs

The Pirates will visit Chicago as they look to avoid a three-game sweep against the Cubs. Johan Oviedo will be on the mound for the Pirates as Marcus Stroman will look to improve on his strong season. Oviedo has had some quality starts recently, but the Pirates offense failed to give him run support to help him record wins. I’m encouraged by how the righty has looked in June, and I believe he puts together another good day in this game. I like Ji-Hwan Bae to have a good night at the plate with a plus-matchup against the righty to continue his solid season. Look for him to have a couple of base knocks, as he’s batting .282 against righties in his career. I expect Bryan Reynolds to stay red hot on his seven-game hitting streak that includes nine total hits in that span. This year against righties, Reynolds is batting .304 with an OPS of .907. Expect him to knock in a run tonight as he extends his hitting streak to eight games.

Overall, I like the Pirates to bounce back tonight to avoid the sweep after blowing a lead in last night’s game.

Parlay Odds: +600
