MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (4/16)
We're back. We've had a bit of an unlucky start with some pinch hitters ruining parlays, but it's a marathon, not a sprint. That's why I'll remind you that hitting parlays is hard and not something to expect any given night. I'll be coming at you weekly with my favorite same-game parlay (SGP) picks of the day.
Last year was decent, finishing slightly above the money across the season. Remember, SGPs are high-risk/high-reward, so you aren't going to hit them frequently, but when you do, it's an incredible feeling. I'll come at you with multiple SGPs, but remember to shop around. Many sportsbooks have different odds, promotions and boosts. They love it when you bet them, so you might as well take advantage of whatever boosted odds they have to offer when you do. Let's get to it.

Wednesday's MLB Best Same Game Parlay Bets
Last Time: 0-2 | Season: 0-6 (-6.0 Units) | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Atlanta Braves vs. Toronto Blue Jays
- Leg 1: NRFI (-140)
- Leg 2: Under 6.5 Runs (+146)
- Leg 3: Braves Moneyline (-148)
You can tell I expect this to be a low-scoring affair despite Spencer Strider making his first start of the season. I'm not sure what's in the water, but the Braves are due for some positive direction as they are still the favorites.
Chris Bassitt has been excellent early this season, but he's due for regression, as he hasn't exactly been a strikeout machine. This is a bet for unders where you can mix and match when additional props become available. I expect Bo Bichette and George Springer to struggle while Strider and the Braves keep the Blue Jays at bay on the way to victory.
Parlay Odds: +525
Cleveland Guardians vs. Baltimore Orioles
- Leg 1: Gunnar Henderson 2+ Total Bases (+125)
- Leg 2: Over 9 Runs (+127)
- Leg 3: Dean Kremer Over 2.5 Runs Allowed (+550)
On the other end of an expected low-scoring affair, I expect Cleveland and Baltimore to be an absolute slugfest. Dean Kremer has struggled early on this year with an 8.16 ERA, allowing over three runs in all three starts.
The Guardians have seen Kremer plenty, with Steven Kwan hitting 4-for-8 off him. Gavin Williams isn't exactly lights out either, allowing a 1.677 OPS to Orioles he's faced. It is a small sample, but this game is lining up for a lot of runs. I expect Gunnar Henderson to lead the way. He is 2-for-2 against Williams and will get plenty of cracks at him leading off the game.
Parlay Odds: +550
