Los Angeles Dodgers at Atlanta Braves

It's been all Dodgers as they look to take all six games of the regular season series. Dustin May has regressed since his amazing start to the season, when he allowed two earned runs in his first 17 innings. He's now allowed ten earned runs in his last 10 1/3 innings. The walks are starting to hurt him, and he's allowed three in four of his five starts. It didn't impact his first start of the year against the Braves, where he went five innings, allowed one hit, and one earned run.

The Braves’ offense continues to be inconsistent. They are 15th in weighted on-base average (.306) and 17th in walk rate (8.5%). The Braves are continually showing they are not a good team right now, and this could be an even lower point if they suffer the regular-season sweep.

Detroit Tigers at Los Angeles Angels

We get a rubber match. The Angels were able to regroup after a devastating loss on Friday, in which they allowed eight runs in the ninth.

After a brutal start to the season, we're seeing a much better Reese Olson as he has a 1.50 ERA in his last three starts. The big difference is keeping the ball at the lower part of the strike zone and starting middle and falling instead of up and falling to the heart of the plate. He's inducing a lot of groundballs but getting a lot of swings and misses as well.

Los Angeles started the season off well, but they have returned to form as they sit in last place in the American League West. They will also not have their best player, as Mike Trout will hit the IL again with a bone bruise. Even with Trout, the lineup has struggled all season with making contact, ranking 29th in whiff rate. They also have a tendency to be aggressive early with a 48.3% first pitch swing rate, but it's mostly left behind in the count early. Olson could continue this momentum with another quality start.
