MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Thursday (4/10)
Two weeks into the MLB season and I finally get to make another MLB bet. I count down the days until Thursday (spoiler alert: there are six days in between every Thursday) when I get to make a bet for you lovely people. Let’s build a same-game parlay (SGP) betting card together for Thursday, April 10th.
We’ll begin with some important stats through 2025 to help find an angle for today. It’s a limited slate, so we might as well go through all the teams.

Thursday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Picks
(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Guardians
- Leg 1: Guardians Moneyline (-220)
- Leg 2: Gavin Williams Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-102)
- Leg 3: Carlos Santana to Record a Hit (-165)
Leg #1: Guardians Moneyline (-220)
The Guardians pull this out in a game that is never really in doubt. The highest difference in stats from above, and a -220 Moneyline is usually a sweet spot of Vegas agreeing this matchup is lopsided.
Leg #2: Gavin Williams Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-102)
Despite the White Sox ranking in the bottom five in almost every offensive category, they are in the top 10 in strikeout rate. This stat is a little surprising, though, which is why there is action on Gavin Williams over 5.5 strikeouts (-128) on FanDuel Sportsbook. I think it’s a trap. There is no way Williams goes more than six innings. I get a chance to take under a strikeout an inning from a pitcher with a career 1.35 WHIP facing a top-10 team in strikeout rate? Sign me up.
Leg #3: Carlos Santana to Record a Hit (-165)
Highest average on the Guardians against righties? Check.
Batting in the three-hole? Check.
Old but healthy? Check.
I didn’t draft Carlos Santana in fantasy, but he’s a good bet when he’s in a good situation and healthy. I’m more worried about him getting walks than outs. Which is a good sign for my Guardians Moneyline leg of this parlay.
