New York Mets at Los Angeles Dodgers

Game 3 and Game 4 were all Dodgers, and it looked like they had the Mets on the ropes to send them out on their home field. The Mets have been very good at swinging the moment back in their favor quickly, and they got this series back to L.A. after being pummeled the two games prior.

The Mets played as perfectly as you can in Game 5 and became just the 11th team not to be struck out in a postseason game. They also finally hit with runners in scoring position, something the Dodgers have done well throughout this series.

Sean Manaea has been the Mets’ best pitcher in the playoffs. In his last start against the Dodgers, he allowed three total runs in five innings.

The troubling part for Manaea was the four walks. Los Angeles had the second-best walk rate in the regular season (9.8%) and leads that category in the playoffs. Hopefully, they can work the count, get runners on and take advantage of the opportunities.

Each time the Mets have won, the Dodgers’ offense has come back with a big offensive output. Shohei Ohtani started this series slowly, but he had some big hits in New York, and they've been getting contributions throughout the lineup.

The problem has been the pitching. If they were going to close this series, Jack Flaherty would have been the starter in Game 5 to do it, but he was shelved for eight runs. It looks like it will be a bullpen game, but they've been exceptional, with a 2.94 ERA in the postseason.

The one constant of this series is offense, so bet on a high-scoring game with the big bats making an impact. What we can do is take two props with significant odds, which allows us to take a total with heavy juice and a great return.
