Miami Marlins vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Same Game Parlay

Eury Perez has fully recovered from Tommy John surgery and will make his first start since 2023. In 2023, Perez struck out 108 batters in 91.1 innings. He struck out at least five batters in 15 of his 19 starts before his injury. He had a stretch in June of 2023 where he struck out at least five batters in all five starts.
That said, don’t expect him to go super deep in this game. But he’s still facing a Pirates lineup that has four batters who have struck out at least 25.8% of the time over the last 30 days against righties. With four significant targets, Perez should be able to get to five strikeouts.
Meanwhile, Mike Burrows will take the hill for the Pirates. Burrows has allowed a .259 ISO and wOBA of .363 to his first 59 batters faced this season. He’s allowed more than 32% of line drives and has only struck out 18.6% of batters this season. The right-hander will likely have a difficult time against the Marlins. After all, Miami’s offense has hit a .353 wOBA with only 18.3% of strikeouts against righties over the last month.
It begins with Kyle Stowers, who has slugged a .262 ISO and wOBA of .375 against his last 70 righties. The left-handed slugger has earned 77.8% of hard contact and a 17.8% barrel rate over the previous month.
Furthermore, Otto Lopez is another hitter who has potential against Burrows. Lopez has slugged a .238 ISO and wOBA of .374 with only 10.4% of strikeouts against righties. He’s added 59.5% of hard contact and a 10.8% barrel rate against righties.
