Saturday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlays & Picks
(Odds courtesy of Fanduel Sportsbook)
Chicago White Sox at Texas Rangers MLB SGP
- Leg 1: Rangers -1.5 (-162)
- Leg 2: Under 7.5 Runs (-122)
- Leg 3: Jacob deGrom 6+ Strikeouts (-105)
Jacob deGrom is healthy after only pitching nine starts in his first two seasons with Texas and is having a fantastic season with a 2.12 ERA. He's coming off one of his best starts of the season, where he went seven scoreless innings and struck out eight against Washington. This now gives him a 1.35 ERA in his five starts.
The swing and miss stuff is on point as deGrom is in the 84th percentile in whiff rate and 87th in chase rate. He faces the White Sox on Saturday, who are last in weighted on-base average and 16th in whiff rate, which could help keep this run going.

Toronto Blue Jays at Philadelphia Phillies MLB SGP
- Leg 1: Phillies -1.5 (+122)
- Leg 1: Cristopher Sanchez Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-120)
Cristopher Sanchez is having a fantastic season as he comes in with a 3.10 ERA. He's coming off another phenomenal start where he went seven innings, allowing two earned runs and striking out nine against Pittsburgh.
Sanchez is exceptional at inducing swings and misses, which is why his whiff rate is in the 84th percentile and his strikeout rate is in the 78th percentile. The interesting part is that he's not relying on overpowering stuff. His change-up has been his best pitch, and he has a 46.8% whiff rate on the pitch.
Although the Blue Jays’ lineup has only a 22.7% whiff rate against Sanchez, they have struggled against him with a .269 weighted on-base average. You look at some of Toronto’s top sluggers, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is hitting only .143, along with Bo Bichette, who is only batting .167.

Colorado Rockies at Atlanta Braves MLB SGP
- Leg 1: Braves -1.5 (-163)
- Leg 2: Spencer Strider 9+ Strikeouts (-140)
- Leg 3: Braves Team Total Over 5.5 Runs (-110)
Spencer Strider is five starts into the season and has lost all five. He's back from missing all of last season recovering from Tommy John, but he does not look like his previous dominant self.
There is a noticeable dip in velocity and movement in all pitches. Strider was once one of the best strikeout pitchers in the league. In 2023, he had a 36.8% strikeout rate (99th percentile). This season, it is 22.4% (52nd percentile).
Strider is pitching at home against the Rockies, who are second-to-last in strikeout rate (25.9%), last in whiff (29.4%) and chase rate (31.3%). If he’s not effective against Colorado, then Strider might have to take a step back and re-evaluate himself.
