MLB Same Game Parlays & Picks: Tuesday (6/23)
One of the many beauties of baseball is the sheer number of games. More often than not, we'll have a full schedule of games on any given day - like we do today. Of course, more games mean more opportunities for betting on MLB same game parlays (SGPs). The following are my top two picks for today.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox
Leg #1: Guardians Moneyline (-112)
Neither team has been hitting the ball well lately, which typically makes the Under a strong play. But while Cleveland has been hitting .199 and Chicago .221, both are averaging over four runs per game over the last week.
With the total set at seven runs, that's too close to call for me. But I think the Guardians have an advantage with Parker Messick on the mound (7-3, 2.70 ERA, 1.10 WHIP) over Sean Burke (4-4, 3.89 ERA, 1.22 WHIP).
I'll take the Guardians to win outright.
Leg #2: Sean Burke Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-144)
Sean Burke has gone over this mark in his last five starts. With Cleveland's lineup averaging over 12 strikeouts per game over the last week (six games), I like his chances of getting at least six punchouts tonight.
Leg #3: First Inning Result: Tie (-170)
We have two good pitchers facing lineups that are struggling to make contact. Each has given up at least one run in each of their last four starts.
Parlay Odds: +372 - A $100 wager will result in a $472 payday; your stake plus $372 in winnings.
Baltimore Orioles vs. Los Angeles Angels
Leg #1: Orioles First Five Innings Moneyline (-106)
Baltimore's lineup hasn't been overly impressive over the last week, hitting just .252. But they are facing Ryan Johnson, who has a 14.40 ERA at home. Opponents have hit .348 against him.
If they aren't leading after five innings, pigs will be flying somewhere, and a certain place no one wants to go will be frozen over.
Leg #2: Taylor Ward to Record a Hit (-210)
Leg #3: Pete Alonso to Record a Hit (-250)
Taylor Ward has hit safely in 16 of his last 20 games; Pete Alonso has hit safely in 15 of his last 20 games. Against a pitcher with a 2.33 WHIP, they'll both record at least one hit.
Leg #4: Ryan Johnson Under 4.5 Strikeouts (-142)
In five appearances and 13.1 innings of work, Ryan Johnson has recorded seven total strikeouts. There is no reason to think he'll strike out five batters in one game, let alone last long enough to do so.
Leg #5: Taylor Ward to Record a Run (-130)
Taylor Ward recorded two runs last night, and if he gets on base, as I expect him to, there is a strong chance someone will hit him home.
Parlay Odds: +462 - A $100 wager will result in a $562 payday; your stake plus $462 in winnings.
