Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals (Game 1)
Leg #1: Brewers -1.5 (-110)
The logic behind this leg is simple. Trust Jacob Misiorowski (9-4, 1.47 ERA, and 0.78 WHIP). His stats look even better on the road, where he has a 1.30 ERA and has held opponents to a .145 batting average.
Monday's game was a close one, but the Cardinals will struggle against Misiorowski. As long as his lineup can chip in 2-4 runs, the Brewers will cover the run line.
Leg #2: Jacob Misiorowski Over 7.5 Strikeouts (+114)
St. Louis has averaged fewer than eight strikeouts per game over the last week, but that means nothing against Jacob Misiorowski. He's gone over this total in 12 of his last 13 games (and recorded seven in the one he missed). There is no reason to think he will fall short tonight.
Leg #3: Under 7.5 Runs (+100)
The Cardinals are not hitting well enough to even entertain the notion of scoring a few runs off Jacob Misiorowski. Milwaukee is hitting well enough to win, but I wouldn't count on them to run up the score (a .265 batting average over the last week; 30 runs scored over seven games).
Parlay Odds: +538 - A $100 wager will result in a $638 payday; your stake plus $538 in winnings.
Los Angeles Angels vs. Texas Rangers
Leg #1: Rangers -1.5 (+140)
Both teams have good pitchers starting on the mound, with Texas going with Jacob deGrom (7-5, 3.48 ERA, 0.99 WHIP) and L.A. with Jose Soriano (8-5, 3.42 ERA, 1.32 WHIP). Neither has been at their best of late, with Soriano giving up 11 runs across the last three games, while deGrom allowed six runs versus San Diego on June 19th.
But the Angels have been hitting just .185 with 11 runs scored in their last five games. Texas isn't exactly lighting up the scoreboard either. However, the Rangers will tag Soriano for a few runs, enough to cover the run line.
Leg #2: Under 7.0 Runs (+102)
With Texas hitting .237 and the Angels .185, and facing good pitchers, there will not be much scoring in this game.
Leg #3: Ezequiel Duran to Record a Hit (-190)
It's a little risky going with someone to record a hit in what could be a low-scoring game. But Ezequiel Duran has hit .350 over the last week, giving him a good chance to record one against Soriano.
Parlay Odds: +504 - A $100 wager will result in a $604 payday; your stake plus $504 in winnings.
