MLB To Hit a Home Run Player Prop Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (6/14)

Last week we had an NL West theme going, which brought us luck, so we are sticking with players from the NL West to hit a home run today.

Here are two players in I’m confident in to go yard on the MLB slate for Wednesday, June 14.

Today’s Best To Hit A Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Mookie Betts (+380)

Mike Clevinger has an HR/9 or 1.40, which ranks about the middle of the pack on today’s slate. Six of the nine home runs he has allowed this season have come from right-handed batters.

Mookie Betts has 17 at-bats against Clevinger but has yet to get one out of the park. Despite being homer-less against the White Sox starter, Betts has had much success against him. He is 7-17 with one double and one triple, with only two strikeouts. It’s fair to say Betts has a clear advantage tonight.

Christian Walker (+450)

When it comes to hitting LHP, Christian Walker is one of the best in the game. Walker leads the Diamondbacks in HR against LHP (six) and is tied for the eighth most in the MLB. His ISO of .333 is also 10th best in the MLB against lefties.

Ranger Suarez has done well since his season debut in May, but advanced metrics like xERA and xFIP show that some negative regression is looming ahead.

Walker did go 0-4 against Suaraz earlier this year, but overall, Walker is five for 12 (.385 avg.) with two doubles and one triple against him in his career. A big day for Walker is ahead!
