MLB World Series Game 2 Same Game Parlays: Saturday (Yankees vs. Dodgers)
It's one of the most hyped-up World Series in a long time, and Game 1 was too much to contain in nine innings. It certainly was memorable, with Freddie Freeman hitting a walk-off grand slam to take Game 1. Can we get the same drama in Game 2? Let’s make a same game parlay and watch the show.

New York Yankees at Los Angeles Dodgers
- Leg 1: Giancarlo Stanton Over 0.5 Total Bases (-165)
- Leg 2: Over 8.5 Total Runs (-118)
- Leg 3: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
The Yankees needed to keep the Dodgers off the bases with the top of the order up, and besides the Mookie Betts RBI in the eighth, they did very well. That top of the lineup can do damage; the best thing the Yankees can do is not allow runners on.
New York needed to get to the Dodgers' bullpen early, and they did. Roberts played around with matchups for the rest of the game. Los Angeles goes with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and you hope he can have an extended start. Coming back from injury, they haven't sent him out past fifth, but maybe he goes longer in his fourth start of these playoffs.
The Yankees’ top-of-the-order has been just as dangerous and was excellent in Game 1. Gleybor Torres had two hits, Juan Soto got on three times, and Aaron Judge had a hit, but once again, Giancarlo Stanton continued his stellar October with his sixth home run of the playoffs.
All of that is erased because of questionable decisions made by Aaron Boone. Even before the decision to bring in Nestor Cortez in the tenth, who hadn't pitched in a month, why did he take out Gerrit Cole after 88 pitches? Now he has an overworked bullpen with nothing to show from it.
Carlos Rodon has been great in his last two starts. He pitched 10.2 innings, allowed three earned runs, and struck out 14.
As we saw last night, anything could happen. It looked like the Under was locked, but Freeman squashed that with one swing. We saw the hitters get off to a slow start, which could be because of the layoff. With each team back in game mode, the Over will come before the last at-bat.
