MLB World Series Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions: Game 3 (Phillies/Astros)
The 2022 World Series returns to Philadelphia today, tied at one apiece. There is a small amount of rain in the forecast in the area so be aware of delays and possible stoppages in the game. Noah Syndergaard takes the ball for the Phillies and Lance McCullers for the Astros. Let’s take a look at the best prop bets for the game.

Yordan Alvarez o0.5 HR +230
Alvarez has been quiet this postseason despite getting off to a hot start. Syndergaard tends to locate down in the zone where Alvarez does most of his damage. Citizen’s Bank is a great place to hit home runs and I believe tonight is the night that Alvarez gets off the relative snide.
Lance McCullers u15.5 Outs -115
McCullers succeeds by throwing lots and lots of breaking pitches and he throws his slider and curveball nearly 50% of the time. The Phillies are one of the better offenses in baseball against breaking pitches with an xwOBA of 0.284, which is the fourth-best in the league. They should be able to make McCullers work.
Kyle Tucker o0.5 SB +450
Tucker swiped 25 bases this season and is one of the better base stealers on the Astros’ roster. Syndergaard has been one of the worst pitchers in baseball over the last few seasons in terms of holding runners on. He should provide ample opportunity for the Astros to run. This is a bit of a difficult bet since J.T. Realmuto is one of the most difficult pitchers to run on but I think the combination of Tucker’s speed and Syndergaard’s inability to hold runners on can overcome the impact of Realmuto.
