MLB World Series Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions: Game 4 (Phillies/Astros)

After an offensive onslaught in Game 3, the Phillies look to take a commanding lead at home in Game 4. They will send Aaron Nola to the mound as a benefit of the rainout on Monday and the Astros are countering with Cristian Javier.

Chas McCormick o0.5 HR +1000

We tried to go with bet in Game 1 and McCormick didn’t get it done but the odds are higher tonight. Nola loves to attack hitters away with fastballs and McCormick goes to the opposite field as hell as any other hitter in the game.

Cristian Javier o5.5 K -105

Javier was one of the most prolific strikeout artists in baseball this season with a K/9 over 11. His numbers are quite as elite this postseason but he still possesses the skills needed for this to hit. The Phillies’ offense has been excellent this postseason as well but they still have enough swing-and-miss for this bet to hit.

Cristian Javier 01.5 Walks -140

As good as Javier has been his issue has been walks. The Phillies were middle of the road this season in walk rate but they have several hitters who are extremely patient and can take advantage of Javier’s failings. This has the potential to be a high-pitch count outing for Javier so I also like the outs recorded under for him.
