Saturday’s Best MLB World Series Props
Drew Rasmussen Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-154 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
Drew Rasmussen has excelled this postseason, pitching eight, six and seven innings with 10, seven and six strikeouts. Milwaukee has hit .250 against him (12-for-48) and struck out 11 times, while averaging just 7.5 strikeouts per postseason game. Nick Martinez struck out five in five innings in Game 1, while Rasmussen recorded eight against Milwaukee on April 1st.
Still, the consistent Brewers lineup is unlikely to strike out seven times against Rasmussen unless he pitches seven or eight innings.
Drew Rasmussen Under 1.5 Earned Runs Allowed (+105 at Fanatics Sportsbook)
With this pitching matchup and how well the Rays have been hitting, it feels wiser to avoid a player prop on one of the batters. Drew Rasmussen has been a consistent force in the postseason, allowing just three earned runs in 21 innings (three starts). The Rays have let him go long in the postseason, but I think it’s more likely they err on the side of caution and pull him early.
Milwaukee has been hitting better than the Rays, but not good enough to score more than one off Rasmussen.
Logan Henderson Under 14.5 Outs Recorded (+100 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
At 14.5 outs, we are talking about Logan Henderson getting pulled before the end of the fifth inning. That sounds like a short start/quick hook, but that is what the Brewers have done in the postseason. In the previous two series, only one starter lasted five innings. Henderson lasted five innings against the Padres, but no one has gone beyond that.
With the best bullpen in baseball this season, expect the Brewers to continue having a quick hook for pitchers.
Logan Henderson 3 or Fewer Hits Allowed (+165 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Three hits isn’t much, but the Rays have struggled against right-handed pitching in the postseason, hitting just .192 (18-for-182). Logan Henderson gave up three hits in his start versus the Dodgers and two versus the Padres. With the Brewers likely to pull him early and the Rays not hitting too well, I love this prop at plus-money odds.
