While they have been one of the best stories of this World Cup, I think we see the clock on Morocco’s run expire in this match. Facing a Portugal team that may still not have played their best football, I don’t think the Atlas Lions have the firepower to compete in this one.
For Portugal, the issues surrounding Ronaldo will need to be controlled, but if the play of Ramos continues even partially, they should be just fine. In his last four starts for Portugal dating back to pre-tournament, Ramos has seven goals, including a hat trick vs. earlier in the week. My prediction? Ramos slots one home early, and this game turns into possession.
