Kevin English (Draft Sharks) is running away with first place this season. The difference between his Win Percentage and second place is larger than the difference between second and sixth! We will continue keeping track through the end of the NFL playoffs which leaves us with just 75 games left to choose between. So if Zach Brunner (FlurrySports) continues recommending 22% of his options, he would need to hit 27 of his 33 picks or 82% to catch Kevin, assuming he keeps up absurd winning percentage. Crazier things have happened, but it seems that the other experts will have a difficult time catching him for first place. The biggest race is for third place where early-season leader, Davis Mattek (Fantasy Insiders) is attempting to hold off Daily Roto’s staff rankings and Jamey Eisenberg (CBS Sports). That trio is close enough that Jamey could leapfrog up to #3 with a big Week 15. With that said, four weeks plus the playoffs is a long time and anyone currently within the top ten has a legitimate shot at finding a spot on the top three pedestals by the end of the year.

Kevin English has been spectacular all season with just one losing week out of 14. During that time, he finished #1 out of 145 analysts three separate weeks by going 6-0 in Week 5, 9-0 in Week 8 then 7-1 in Week 12. Looking at his splits, Kevin has been even across the board, nailing 66% of his home games in 29 attempts and 63% on the road as well as hitting favorites 62% of the time and underdogs 66%. Likewise, Kevin has excelled in making both over picks (70%) and under picks (67%). We ask analysts to provide a confidence rating with their picks every week and when Kevin has given a pick 4 or 5 stars, he has been correct an almost unbelievable 86% of the time. Congratulations to Kevin on a truly spectacular run so far this season!

Week 14 proved to be an extremely difficult slate with a handful of the most common plays all falling the other direction. Even still, 24 analysts managed to correctly call 60% of their selections while 6 hit the 70% mark. We wanted to give a shout out to those analysts for an impressive week: Jacob Feldman (SI.com)Brad Gagnon (Bleacher Report) and Mike Tagliere (FantasyPros) led the way, each posting 75% on the week. Not far behind them, were Ryan Noonan (The Quant Edge)Walter Cherepinsky (Walter Football) and Anthony Amico (RotoViz). Walter, in particular, had a special week considering he elected to pick all 32 options (16 ATS and 16 O/U), nailing 23 of them. Well done to these analysts and all the others who kept their head above water during the tough week.

We’ll be back at the conclusion of the season to give you the final standings for our 2018 accuracy contest. Until then, be sure to check out our matchup pages to see who the Expert Consensus likes this week. You can even drill into each game to see who the Top 20% of experts are favoring!
