NBA All-Star Game Parlay for Sunday February 20th, 2022
All-Star weekend has officially arrived as the world’s best hoopers head to Cleveland, OH, for what should be a great weekend of events. Following last season’s format, LeBron James and Kevin Durant served as captains, picking their own teams last week on TNT.
Let’s take a closer look at the game itself and identify where the remaining edges lie in a two-leg Same Game Parlay I have cooked up for the festivities.

Leg #1. Team LeBron -6 | -110 at DK Sportsbook
A perfect 4-0 in All-Star games where he’s picked the team dating back to the 2018 season, LeBron is much better at constructing these teams than he is with the limited resources an actual salary cap offers. But that’s for another day.
Looking back over those four contests, Lebron’s teams have won by an average of 9.75 points and had some of the highest scores in NBA All-Star game history, including 170 points scored last season. Looking at the league’s top five scorers right now, three are on Team LeBron and will be suiting up for this one.
I like for DeMar DeRozan and Giannis Antetokounmpo to continue their torrid play and carry team LeBron to a fifth straight victory with enough of a scoring gap to cover.
Leg #2. Over 320 | -110 at DK Sportsbook
In this season’s game, LeBron will also have the two Cavaliers who got the honors on his team, who should have some extra motivation to perform well in front of their own fans. With an already known lack of defense, I expect this to help boost the scores on both sides.
And then there’s LeBron himself. In what will all but certainly be his last All-Star game in his home city, it wouldn’t surprise me if we see some added effort from a star whose still very much performing at a high level. With Joel Embiid and Ja Morant looking to make an even brighter name for themselves as well on Team Durant, I expect the all-in mentalities to help boost the total over the 320 mark (which is exactly where it landed last year).
