Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (11/18)

We got back to our winning ways on Wednesday, sweeping the board and going 3-0 ATS on the night, making it look much easier than it is. After a quiet Thursday slate, we’re back with three more spots where I see value on the Friday night board.

YTD Record: 23-15-1 ATS

1. Wizards -1 -110 at DK Sportsbook

The Wizards lost two double-digit leads Wednesday night in their 120-121 loss at home to the Thunder, snapping a four-game winning streak in a game they should have had. OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gashed them for 42 points on the night, including a three-pointer for the win with just two seconds left on the clock. Returning from illness, Bradley Beal dropped 25 points on the night and should see even more minutes in tonight’s contest.

As for the visiting Heat, a winning streak (three) was also snapped on Wednesday, losing 112-104 on the road at Toronto in their first of a four-game road trip. Like we’ve seen for much of this season, the Heat lacks a killer scorer night and night out, as Max Strus led the way with 20 points vs. the Raptors.

While Bam Adebayo (knee) and Victor Oladipo (knee) are expected to miss this one again, I like for the Wizards to have enough to get this one done at home.

2. Thunder +6 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Now 6-2 ATS on the road this season, The Thunder come into this game having now covered four straight, and I like for them to make it five in this one. Coming into Memphis averaging 116.6 points per game, this young OKC team continues to get the job done nearly every night and now draws a Grizzlies team licking its wounds.

Desmond Bane is expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks with a toe injury, and this has proven to be a different team without him. Charles Barkley was right: while great, Ja Morant doesn’t make his teammates better yet, and I think we see them slide without Bane in the lineup.

3. Warriors -7.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

The Warriors return home following a hard-fought game Wednesday night in Phoenix and now draw a Knicks team on leg three of a brutal five-game road trip. For the Knicks, they were able to take advantage of an ailing Nuggets team on Wednesday, winning 106-103 as they dominated the fourth quarter without Jokic. Nearly at full health, the Knicks have been playing stellar defense, forcing opponents to an FG% of just 45.2% to this point in the season.

Defense is where the Warriors have been lacking as they enter this game, allowing 118.3 points per game to rank #29 in the league. Offense, however, hasn’t been an issue, as they rank top 10 across the board in all major offensive categories. Returning home,  I like for this to be a get-right spot for the Warriors as they start to turn a corner after a rough start to the season (by their standards).
