NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (3/27)

It was another 2-1 ATS card on Wednesday, winning easily with the Nuggets before grinding out a .5-point cover with the Warriors. After a few days off, we return to the NBA hardwood tonight as we look to close out strong with just a few weeks left in the NBA regular season.

YTD Record: 103-82-5 ATS

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Detroit Pistons

Even for a football game, this would be a considerable number. While we have seen the Bucks cover a spread even bigger in the past week, winning 130-94 vs. the visiting Spurs as -19-point favorites, they now hit the road for this one.

As for the Pistons, one of the worst teams in the league all season long, they come into this one having lost nine of their past 10, losing twice last week as 13.5-point underdogs. With a big week ahead as they look to close out the top seed in the East, I expect the Bucks to be careful with playing time when it comes to Antetokounmpo and Crowder, as both come into this one probable.

While the Pistons have no shortage of injuries themselves, I think the reserves can keep this one inside the number late as the Bucks let their foot off the gas.

Bet: Pistons +17 (-110)

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Sacramento Kings

The Kings come into tonight just one win away from clinching a playoff spot, but standing in their way is a team in the T-Wolves who is surging a the right time. As of tonight, Minnesota has won three straight games (2-1 ATS), playing just up the road in Golden State last night.

While I’d typically stay away from teams playing on consecutive nights, this Minnesota team is as healthy as they’ve been all season, and I think plays strong once again tonight. Add in the fact that the Kings will likely be without D. Fox (hamstring), and I do expect Minnesota to keep this one within the number.

Bet: Timberwolves +5 (-110)

Phoenix Suns vs. Utah Jazz

Currently sitting 1.5 games outside the play-in tournament, the Jazz need to start winning and now. Despite having lost three straight, the Jazz have been playing good basketball, covering seven of their past 10 games. Two of those aforementioned losses have come against two of the leagues’ very best in Milwaukee and Sacramento, who they had to play on back-to-back nights last week.

The Suns also haven’t been playing great basketball, with their win on Saturday halting a three-game slide of their own which saw them lose to both OKC and the Lakers. As the season winds down, I expect the Suns to pick up key games like this, but I do think the Jazz have enough to keep this one inside the number.

Bet: Jazz +6.5 (-110)
