Today’s Best NBA Bets

Let’s take a closer look.

Lakers (+9) vs. Nets

Currently sitting outside of even the play-in tournament, the Lakers dropped another one on Friday night following a horrible missed call as time expired. Even still, the loss was the Lakers’ sixth in their last 10, as not even a healthy LeBron has been able to will this team.

With LeBron now out of the lineup for tonight’s game, the Nets’ will have an easier time, as they are also without their star Kevin Durant. Ben Simmons, the team’s best defensive player, is questionable tonight, dealing with a knee injury.

With both teams relying largely on their bench tonight, I think the Lakers have enough to keep this one close.

Bet: Lakers +9 (-110)

Wizards (-6.5) vs. Spurs

Don’t look now, but here come the Wiz.

Currently firmly in the play-in tournament following five straight wins, the return of Bradley Beal has already turned into on-court wins. The wins have also been impressive, with four coming on the road, including their last three straight.

For the Spurs, things continue to go from bad to worse, as their latest losing streak has now reached five straight games, failing to cover in four straight. With Kristaps Porzinigis expected to suit up for this one, things won’t get any easier for the Spurs as the Wiz are now at full strength for one of the first times all season.

Bet: Wizards -6.5 (-110)

Hawks (+2) vs. Trail Blazers

On the heels of what has been an up-and-down season, the Hawks now sit at .500 heading into February and are a healthy Trae Young away from making a run. Young is questionable again tonight in Portland, but I expect him to go as Dame Lillard sits on the other side.

Currently #9 in the league in points per game at 116 per contest, the Hawks have struggled as of late, losing three of their last four following a five-game win streak in the middle of the month. For the Trail Blazers, losing four of six also has them reeling, as injuries have their bench in trouble.

Look for the Hawks to pull away in this one late as the better team from top to bottom.

Bet: Hawks +2 (-110)
