Oklahoma City Thunder at Indianapolis Pacers
- Leg 1: Indiana Pacers +4 Halftime Spread (-112)
- Leg 2: Tyrese Haliburton 1+ Block (-145)
- Leg 3: Bennedict Mathurin 8+ Points (-220)
- Leg 4: Aaron Nembhard 3+ Rebounds (-255)
Oklahoma City goes into this contest hoping to even up this series at two wins apiece after a remarkable Game 3 between these two teams. The Pacers are on the hunt to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals, and if Game 3 was any indication, fans should expect another all-out war on the court this evening.
Indiana has held a lead going into the third quarter in the last five playoff home games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The home team has been ahead in the first half in each of the previous 11 games featuring the Pacers.
Indiana owns a record of 14-5 at halftime through the playoffs, while shooting over 49% from the field, and just under 40% from three. Indiana may have some extra incentive, considering they can take a commanding 3-1 lead with a win. This even furthers our expectations for the Pacers to have an advantage going into the half this evening.
Tyrese Haliburton has blocked 15 shots in the playoffs. The Indiana guard has finished with one or more blocks in 10 out of 19 postseason contests. Haliburton rejected at least one shot in the last five games played, including one game with two blocks.
Indiana has greatly benefited from Halliburton's aggressive defensive nature and propensity to get a hand on attempted field goals. Streaks can be misleading, however, we feel the Indiana guard brings the total to six straight games with a block this evening.
Bennedict Mathurin is averaging 11.2 points per game in the playoffs and is shooting 50.4% from the field. The Pacers guard owns a usage rate of 25.1% despite only playing 16.7 minutes a game this postseason.
Mathurin's playing time has quite frankly been all over the place during the postseason. However, the sharp-shooting guard has been on the court for an average of 20 minutes over the previous three games.
When playing at home in the playoffs, Mathurin is averaging 12 points on a powerful 53.7% from the field, with a 71.4% true shooting rate. He is averaging 13.75 points over the previous four games and has scored eight points or more in three of those contests.
The defensive hero of Game 3, Andrew Nembhard, may not be contributing the same volume of points during the NBA Finals; however, his overall production can’t be denied. The Indiana guard has pulled down three rebounds or more in all three games this series.
Nembhard is averaging 3.4 boards per game this postseason and has accumulated three or more rebounds in 15 out of 19 playoff games. He has grabbed no fewer than four rebounds in the previous three contests against the Thunder. Nembhard finished with four rebounds or more in the last eight games played against Western Conference foes.
Enjoy the game tonight and good luck with your parlays.
