Denver Nuggets at Philadelphia 76ers

There are two parts to first basket betting. The first part is picking who will get the game’s first possession. The Philadelphia 76ers have a better chance of winning the first possession tonight. Joel Embiid is the more athletic of the two centers and should be able to get the ball first. 

Joel Embiid is the best offensive player in the NBA. The Philadelphia 76ers will start the game trying to get the ball to him. Embiid has the highest betting value in this matchup due to his skills and the 76ers’ desire to get him the ball on offense. Take the player with the most betting value.

Phoenix Suns at Sacramento Kings

Both times these teams have played, the Phoenix Suns have won the tipoff and that will continue tonight. The Suns have the talent to score with the first possession which makes them a great play tonight against the Kings. The only question is who will score the first basket for the Suns. 

The best play for tonight is Devin Booker. Even with all the talent on the Suns, Devin Booker remains the number one scoring option for the team. The Suns will look to Booker early and often to score points.  Players cannot defend him consistently. That adds to his betting value.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Clippers

This matchup is one of the toughest matches to read. The Clippers center, Ivica Zubac, is listed as out for the game tonight which means bettors will want to lean towards the Thunder to win the first possession of this game. 

The Thunder have a few players that could score first in this matchup. Chet Holmgren is the one with the most betting value. He is tall and lanky so the Clippers will have issues trying to defend him. Due to the matchup, Chet is one of the better players in this game to score first.
