Thunder vs. Nuggets
Last year, the Oklahoma City Thunder added a first shot percentage of just 35.4%. Ultimately, the Thunder took the first shot in just one of every three games.
The Thunder also scored the first basket in just 39% of games on the road, but they were much better at scoring the first basket at home. The Thunder are in a fade spot with a road game against the Nuggets.
On the other hand, the Nuggets scored the first basket 54.9% of the time last season. They were even better at home, earning the first basket in 58.5% of games. Additionally, the Nuggets took the first shot in 58.5% of home games last year.
It was Nikola Jokic who led the team in first shots last season. He took 12 first shots last season and is currently the favorite to score the first basket tonight at +500 odds.
