The Grizzles had dropped in the Western Conference standings after losing eight straight but now have won back-to-back. The offense had not been playing well then, but they're shooting 52.3% from the field and 36.2  from three in the two wins.

The Celtics are still the top team in the east and the favorites to get back to the NBA Finals. They may go through a rough patch, with Jalen Brown and Marcus Smart both expecting to miss time.

Not having Steven Adams has hurt Memphis in grabbing the first points of the game. Boston has been slightly better recently, grabbing five of their last ten, with Robert Williams having two team-first baskets in his last four games. No Adams should allow the Celtics to feed Williams down low.
