    Toronto Raptors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Timberwolves haven’t won an opening tip-off in their first two games this season. But I anticipate that to change in this game, which will be on NBA TV.

And other than Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball, no one on the Timberwolves is taking more shots than Jaden McDaniels. He is averaging 12.5 field-goal attempts per game and has the second-best shooting percentage on the team (56%).

McDaniels is well positioned to score first.

    Pick: Jaden McDaniels (+950)

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder have won one of two opening tip-offs, and they can win this one at home against the Clippers, who are 0-for-2.

Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are the favorites to score first in this matchup. But I believe Jalen Williams is the better value.

Williams is second on the team, averaging 16.5 points per game on 15.5 field-goal attempts per contest. Williams will have the volume and opportunity.

    Pick: Jalen Williams (+750)

    Memphis Grizzlies vs. Sacramento Kings

The Grizzlies have won both opening tip-offs this season, so I like Memphis to get the first shot.

Ty Jerome is the favorite among Grizzlies players to tally the initial points of the contest, and he already has a first basket this season. But rookie Cameron Boozer will provide Memphis some early energy. He's second on the team with 16 points and 14 shot attempts per contest, so he'll have the ball in his hands plenty.

    Pick: Cameron Boozer (+800)
