NBA Futures: Best Bets to Win Western Conference Championship (2021-22)
With most of the big free agent moves now complete and Summer League beginning to wrap up in Las Vegas, NV, the 2021-2022 NBA Futures market comes into focus. Short of any offseason injuries, the odds are mostly locked in as sharp bettors have beat them into place.

Favorite Play
It’s been just two years since the Warriors were last conference champions; but how quickly we forget. The departure of Kevin Durant was coupled with a loss to one of their most iconic stars in swingman Klay Thompson. While Durant has since gone east, the Warriors recently brought back veteran Andre Iguodala on a 1-year deal to help guide a locker room top-heavy with a lot of young potential.
To help the three-headed monster that is Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Thompson, there’s a wealth of role players that I think get the Warriors back to the top. Big man James Wiseman has worked his way into the starting lineup, as well as Andrew Wiggins finding his role as one of the stronger defensive players on the team.
The Warrior’s addition of Otto Porto Jr. this offseason also provides another three-point threat, as the career 40% three-point shooter will have to play much less of a key role than he’s been asked to in the past. Add a first-ballot Hall-Of-Fame coach in Stever Kerr to the mix to manage the aforementioned talent, and if the Warriors can stay healthy, I look for them once again to find themselves near the top of the Western Conference.
