The 2025-26 National Basketball Association (NBA) rolls into February, and it’s Groundhog Day. We have a total of four games, including the New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets moved up to 3:00 p.m. ET due to the weekend snowstorm that socked the Carolinas. Due to the potential of refreezing and icy roads at night, the game was pushed up.

We have a doubleheader on Peacock, too, with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies meeting at 7:30 p.m. ET, and the Philadelphia 76ers and L.A. Clippers squaring off at 10 p.m. ET. Let’s build our bankroll with our best NBA picks & predictions for Monday, February 2nd.

Houston Rockets (-200) at Indiana Pacers (+168) | O/U 218.5 (-112/-108

The Rockets (30-17) and Pacers (13-36) meet at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Monday. Houston will be without Kevin Durant, who is sidelined due to a sprained left ankle, while Steven Adams continues to recover after ankle surgery. For the Pacers, Obi Toppin continues to sit due to a stress fracture in his right foot.

The Rockets won 111-107 last time out against the Dallas Mavericks, but they failed to cover as a 10.5-point favorite. While Houston is 4-1 straight up (SU) in the past five games, it is just 1-3 against the spread (ATS) in the past four outings, with a 4-12 ATS record across the previous 16 contests. The under is 5-0 in the past five outings, while going 9-1 across the previous 10 games and 15-2 in the prior 17 contests. With no Durant, Houston could struggle on offense again.

The Pacers topped the Atlanta Hawks 129-124 last time out as a 1.5-point underdog, as the over (234.5) cashed. Indiana hasn’t stacked a lot of wins and covers this season, and this is the fourth time the Pacers have won and covered in consecutive games. The over is 3-1 in the past four outings, too.

In this series, the home team has won and covered in each of the past three meetings, and the over is 3-1 in the past four meetings. Indiana is the play, and let’s go high on the number.

Picks: Pacers +5.5 (-110) & Over 218.5 Points (-112)

Minnesota Timberwolves (-275) at Memphis Grizzlies (+225) | O/U 227.5 (-110/-110

The Timberwolves (31-19) and the Grizzlies (18-29) meet at the FedEx Forum. This game is also on Peacock.

This is actually the second of a back-to-back situation in Memphis, with Minnesota posting a 131-114 victory as 11-point favorites in the first installment on Saturday, as the over (229.5) cashed. Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards went for 33 points, while Rudy Gobert, a.k.a. “The Stifle Tower,” went for nine points, 16 rebounds and two blocks. Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid also each scored 20 points.

Speaking of Edwards, he is questionable to play due to back spasms, so you’ll want to circle back around shortly before tip-off time before finalizing those bets. To make matters even more murky, Julius Randle is nursing a sore left thumb and carries a questionable tag.

For Memphis, Ty Jerome was good for 20 points and six assists, while GG Jackson had 19 points, five assists, four rebounds and a block on Saturday. For Memphis, Santi Aldama (knee surgery), Brandon Clarke (calf), Zach Edey (ankle), John Konchar (neck), Ja Morant (elbow) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe) are out, with Jaren Jackson Jr. (quadriceps) listed as questionable.

Minnesota has won and covered four in a row, and the over is 2-0 in the past two games after a 4-0 under run. Memphis has lost six in a row, and the Grizzlies are just 1-5 ATS in that span, with the over going 5-3 in the previous eight contests.

Let’s back the Timberwolves laying the points, while going high on the total.

Picks: Timberwolves -7.5 (-114) & Over 228.5 Points (-110)

Philadelphia 76ers (+114) at L.A. Clippers (-134) | O/U 220.5 (-110/-110

In the late game at 10;00 p.m. ET, the 76ers (27-21) and Clippers (23-25) square off at Intuit Dome in the second end of the Peacock doubleheader.

Philadelphia won the first meeting at home, 110-108, on November 17th, while the Clippers covered as a 5.5-point underdog as the under (221.5) cashed. The Clippers are 3-1 SU in the past four games, while covering three in a row in the series. The under is 2-1-1 in the past four meetings, too.

The 76ers have won three in a row, while going 2-1 ATS, and the over is 2-1 in those games. Philadelphia hasn’t won four in a row since opening the regular season 4-0.

Los Angeles has turned things around since December 20th, going 17-4 SU after a dismal 6-21 start. The Clippers are also 4-1 ATS in the past five games, while going 9-3 ATS in the past 12 outings, and 16-5 ATS across the past 21 contests. The over has cashed in three of the past four outings, too.

Los Angeles played yesterday, routing the Phoenix Suns 117-93 as a 3-point underdog, as the over (209.5) cashed. When playing on no rest, the Clippers are just 1-6 SU, while going 4-3 ATS, with the under holding a 4-3 edge this season.

Let’s back the Clippers to get the job done, but be careful, even though they’re playing night and day better than earlier in the season, when these teams squared off the first time. The good news for Phiadelphia is that Joel Embiid (ankle) is probable, but Paul George is suspended for this one. We’ll go with the under.

Picks: Clippers -2.5 (-106) & Under 220.5 Points (-110)
