(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Washington Wizards at Chicago Bulls (-12.5) | O/U 243.5 (-110/-110)

We are barely a month into the NBA season, and the Bulls have already been on a rollercoaster ride. They got off to a hot start, winning their first five games and becoming the top team in the Eastern Conference. It hasn’t gone well since then, as they've lost seven of their last 10. The offense has been strong to start the year, ranking seventh in points per game (120.7), but their defense has not been as good, allowing 123.3 points per game (27th). Friday’s game against the Heat shows that if the offense isn’t at its best, they aren't winning, as evidenced by the 143-107 loss.

Back-to-back games aren't ideal, but it's easier when facing a weaker opponent. The Wizards are about as bad as any team in the league, ranking last in points allowed (128.9) and 24th in points scored (112.6). They are currently riding a horrific 13-game losing streak, with ten of the losses by double digits.

The Bulls could make this loss No. 14 and another double-digit defeat for Washington.

Pick: Bulls -12.5 (-110)

Detroit Pistons (-8.5) at Milwaukee Bucks | O/U 223.5 (-105/-115)

Just a couple of years ago, the Pistons went down in history for the longest losing streak in league history at 23. Now, they've won 11 straight and are on top in the Eastern Conference. This is the result of developing a young group of talent and pairing them with the right complement of veterans. They have proven early on to be tough defensively, allowing the third-fewest points (112.1), and like to pressure their opponents and keep them to just 86.1 field goal attempts per game (3rd). It helps when you have Cade Cunningham, who's becoming that franchise-leading star, as he's averaging 27.3 points per game, and his 9.9 assists are second.

It will be tough for Milwaukee without Giannis Antetokounmpo as he's out with a groin injury. They gave Philadelphia all they could, but they still lost in overtime, allowing Tyrese Maxey to score 54 points. In reality, even with Antetokounmpo, this team is average at 18th in points scored and 20th in points allowed.

The Pistons’ winning streak could last another day against the Bucks without their star.

Pick: Bucks -8.5 (-110)
