Toronto Raptors vs. Brooklyn Nets

Toronto looked like it may climb out of its slump after beating the Heat and Bucks last week, but then came back down to Earth after losing 112-96 to the Celtics on Saturday night. As for the Nets, after a 3-16 start to the season, they are 4-3 in their last seven, losing 106-95 their last time out to Miami.

Both teams have injury issues, but the Raptors have been playing better on the road (9-5) than at home (8-7), while the Nets are 3-11 at home.  The injuries are concerning, but Toronto still has enough talent on the roster to cover such a small spread versus a poor Brooklyn Nets squad.

Toronto has already beaten the Nets twice by 10 points. They can cover a 3.5-point spread.

Pick: Raptors -3.5 (-114)

Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks

Friday's loss to the 76ers ended a seven-game winning streak for the Knicks. It was just their second loss of the season at home. Miami ended a five-game losing streak with a win over Brooklyn on Thursday, but the Heat followed that game with a 129-116 loss to the Celtics in Boston.

If everyone were healthy, this could be an interesting game. But the Heat have already ruled out Pelle Larsson, Tyler Herro and Nikola Jovic. Landry Shamet and Miles McBride are out for the Knicks. New York has been on a roll of late, winning 11 out of their last 13 games, while the Heat have been struggling.

There is no reason to think they'll get right against the Knicks in New York. Take the Knicks to cover.

Pick: Knicks -8 (-110)

San Antonio Spurs vs. Washington Wizards

The Spurs (20-7, 9-5 on the road) are tied with the Nuggets for the second-best record in the Western Conference, and the Wizards (5-21, 2-9 at home) happen to have the worst record in the NBA. These teams just played on Thursday night; San Antonio blew out the Wizards, 119-94.

San Antonio is by far the better team; they'll win the game. But whether they can cover is another question. However, with the injuries the Wizards are dealing with, against a healthy San Antonio team, it will probably be another rough outing for the Wizards and an easy one for the Spurs.

Pick: Spurs -15.5 (-108)
