Atlanta Hawks (-900) at Brooklyn Nets (+610) | O/U 229.5 (-110/-110)

The Hawks (37-42) and Nets (26-53) meet at Barclays Center at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Atlanta heads to Brooklyn with plenty on the line. The Hawks are currently in the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, a half-game clear of the Chicago Bulls, while sitting 2.5 games behind the Orlando Magic for the seventh spot with three games left in the regular season. It can’t rise to the sixth position, nor can it fall out of the Play-In round. So, it is basically just playing for home-court advantage in the Play-In tournament.

The Nets have long since been eliminated, 10.5 games out of a playoff spot. The Nets are just 12-27 at home, and with 105.2 points per game (PPG), Brooklyn is second-to-last behind the Orlando Magic (105.1 PPG) in offense.

Brooklyn took care of Atlanta 122-114 as a 6.5-point underdog on March 16 at Barclays Center in the most recent meeting, as the Over (228) cashed. The Nets have actually won five of the past seven meetings, while Brooklyn is a perfect 8-0 against the spread (ATS) in the past eight meetings in this series. The Over is 2-0 in the two regular-season meetings, while going 3-1 in the past four in the series.

Atlanta has dropped four of the past five games, and six of the past eight since March 25, while going 0-2-1 ATS in the past three games, and 2-4-1 ATS in the past seven outings. The Over is 5-2 in the past seven games, and 9-2-1 in the previous 12 games since March 16, which happened to be the date of that loss to the Nets.

For Brooklyn, it topped the New Orleans Pelicans 119-114 as a 1-point favorite as the Over (213.5) cashed. The Nets have nothing to play for, but they’re not waving the white flag. They’re 3-2 SU/ATS in the past five games, with the Over going 5-1 in the past six games.

However, leading scorer Cam Thomas (24.0 PPG) and second-leading scorer Cameron Johnson (18.8 PPG) are each out, as is third-leading scorer D’Angelo Russell (12.6 PPG, 5.1 APG).

Despite the absences, let’s back the Nets catching double-digits at home, especially since they’re 8-0 ATS in the past eight in the series. However, we’ll side with the Under, based on the fact Brooklyn is without its top three scorers.

Picks: Nets +13.5 (-110) & Under 229.5 Points (-110)

New Orleans Pelicans (+810) at Milwaukee Bucks (-1350) | O/U 221.5 (-110/-110)

The Pelicans (21-58) and Bucks (46-34) meet at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee at 8 p.m. ET.

Milwaukee is two games behind the Indiana Pacers for the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference, which would secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. They’re also two games clear of the Detroit Pistons for the sixth spot, and the Bucks cannot fall into the Play-In round.

The Bucks are 25-14 at home, while the Pelicans are just 7-33 on the road this season. New Orleans has long since been eliminated from the postseason chase, too, so it has zero to play for here.

New Orleans was tripped up 119-114 in Brooklyn on Tuesday, falling as a 1-point underdog. That snapped a 5-0-2 ATS run in the previous seven games, although the Pelicans have dropped four in a row. The Over is 2-0-1 in the past three games for the Pellies, too.

Milwaukee topped NOLA 111-107 on Sunday, although the Pelicans covered as a 6-point underdog as the total (218) pushed at most shops. The Bucks have won five in a row, as they push the Pacers for that fourth spot. Those teams will likely meet in the playoffs’ first round either way. The Bucks are 4-1 ATS in the past five games, too, while the Over is 6-1-1 in the past eight outings.

With the Bucks playing for home-court advantage, and the Pelicans with no incentive, look for Milwaukee to get the job done. However, New Orleans is 4-1-2 ATS in the past seven games as a double-digit underdog. Take the Pels with the points, and let’s go Over on the total.

Picks: Pelicans +15 (-110) & Over 221.5 Points (-110)
