There are 14 NBA games tonight as the league prepares for the All-Star break, which begins on Friday. Below, I highlight why I expect high-scoring games between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers and the Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz.
Then, I dive into why the San Antonio Spurs are probably being undervalued against the Golden State Warriors, despite playing the second night of a back-to-back. Below are the best NBA picks & predictions for Wednesday, February 11th.

New York Knicks at Philadelphia 76ers
The last time these two teams met, they combined for just 221 points in Philadelphia. However, each of the first two meetings resulted in at least 223 points, with one contest featuring 249.
While both teams rank in the top half of the league in scoring defense, they're still allowing an average of 227.8 points per game. Additionally, the offenses have been very good this year. The Knicks are averaging 117.6 points per game, and the 76ers are averaging 116.7.
Both teams have been caught up in low-scoring games lately, but for the Knicks, two contests came against the Celtics and Pistons, the second and third-best scoring defenses in the league. The 76ers faced the Suns and their fifth-ranked scoring defense. All averages point to this game going over. And even in the one matchup between these two that went under, the over was missed by only 1.5 points.
Pick: Over 222.5 Points (-108)
Sacramento Kings at Utah Jazz
Tonight, the Kings and Jazz meet for the third time this season. However, they haven't faced each other since November 28th. In that game, the two teams combined for 247 points, a major improvement over the 209 points they combined for in late October.
The Jazz enter this game allowing 126.4 points per game, the most in the league. Meanwhile, the Kings are allowing 120.6 per contest, which is the third-most in the league. Though these two teams have had one really low-scoring game between them, that contest was the second of the season, so that was a long time ago.
The biggest issue entering tonight's game is the Kings' offense. Zach LaVine, Russell Westbrook and Domantas Sabonis are all out for this game. Yet, even if the Kings score fewer than 110 points, the defense has allowed at least 120 points in three of its last four games.
Pick: Over 232.5 Points (-105)
Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs
The second night of a back-to-back is always tricky. Last night, Victor Wembanyama dropped 40 points as the Spurs defeated the Lakers by 28 points. Now, the Spurs have to travel from Los Angeles to San Francisco for another road contest against a Western Conference foe with a winning record. Yet, I still love the Spurs in this game.
The biggest reason is that Steph Curry isn't playing. He also missed Monday's game against the Grizzlies, and while the Warriors picked up the win in that game, the Grizzlies aren't nearly as talented as the Spurs. The Warriors have lost four of their last seven games, with all but one of those losses by at least seven points.
Then there is the fact that the Spurs have won five consecutive games, with each win coming by at least nine points. During their current streak, they played the Thunder and Mavericks on back-to-back nights, and they beat both teams by at least 10 points. If the Warriors were fully healthy, maybe I'd take them to pull off the upset. But until the Spurs show signs of cooling off, I'll be backing them against the spread every game.
Pick: Spurs -6.5 (-115)
