NBA Parlay for Saturday, March 5th, 2022

Following a busy Friday night in the Association, the NBA returns with a packed Saturday slate starting at 5:00 PM in Dallas. Headlining the action, the Golden State Warriors visit the Los Angeles Lakers in a game not many expect to be close.

Let’s take a closer look at the slate in totality and see where the edges remain.

Leg #1. Hornets -4 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

In desperate need of a spark, the Hornets have brought in Isaiah Thomas who is slated to make his home debut tonight with the Spurs coming to town. Scoring 10 points in his Wednesday debut, Thomas helped lead the Hornets to a 119-98 debut, stopping their most recent two-game slide.

For the visiting Spurs, their most recent slide has grown to three games, losing at home to the Kings on Thursday night 112-115. In this one, I like the Hornets to improve to 5-0-1 ATS on at least two days of rest and start to get back on track at home.

Leg #2. Heat -2 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Winners of eight of their last 10 and now 5 straight, the 76ers will get their toughest test of the James Harden era tonight as they travel to Miami. Playing on the second game of a back-to-back, the 76ers draw a Heat team who has won six of their last seven, including a 113-107 win Thursday in Brooklyn.

Currently two games ahead of the 76ers for the 1st seed in the Eastern Conference, the Heat will provide a difficult test for Harden in the form of lockdown defender PJ Tucker. Just 1-4 ATS in their last four in Miami, I like for the 76ers to fall tonight in a game the Heat know they need.

Leg #3. Warriors -6 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

Currently sitting 8 games behind the Suns in the West for the #1 seed, the Warriors need these kinds of wins if they hope to catch up. Averaging 110.9 points per game, the Warriors are trailing behind their usual stellar production as they look to get Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green back in the coming weeks.

For the home Lakers, another month, another injury to Anthony Davis, as the team is reeling once again. Having lost three straight, and nine of their last 10 ATS, expect more of the same tonight in Los Angeles.
