Friday’s Best +EV NBA Picks

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Philadelphia 76ers Moneyline (+110)

I'm a little surprised at the line for this game. Philadelphia already beat the Knicks once this season in New York (106-100). Yes, it was a highly competitive game, but this time it’s in Philadelphia. The 76ers have been rolling since the season started, and they’re relatively healthy. Yes, Jaylen Brown is a game-time decision, and Jabari Walker is out. As long as Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, LeBron James and Joel Embiid are ready to go, the 76ers will be fine.

New York has bounced back from its 0-3 start to win two straight, but the 76ers are the more proven commodity at this stage. Either team can win this game, but if you can get the 76ers (or Knicks, for that matter) at plus-money odds, take them.

You will not find a better value play today.

Golden State Warriors Moneyline (+124)

I'd prefer to take this one at a higher price, but I still see value at +124. Yes, the Lakers and Luka Doncic are juggernauts, but they do not play great defense. If the Warriors can get Steph Curry and Yaxel Lendeborg going like they have the last few games, Golden State could certainly put up enough offense to give the Lakers a run for their money.

After a slow start to the season (105 and 108 points in the first two games), the Warriors scored 122, 134 and 119 points in their last three games. If they can hold the Lakers to 115-120 points, they can win.

Anthony Davis Over 10.5 Rebounds (+110)

Anthony Davis is averaging just 8.4 rebounds per game through five games and has gone over this number just once. Earlier in the week, when the Wizards and Hornets played in Charlotte, he had 10 rebounds. Moussa Diabate and Naz Reid will compete with Davis for boards in the paint, but the Hornets will be down several players in this game, which will eventually catch up to them.

This is absolutely a reachable number for Davis, and one I'd expect to be priced at -105. If you can get it at +100 or better, I'd consider this prop a solid value play, especially with the Wizards playing at home tonight.
