Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 27-44 (-17.16 units)

Miles Bridges Under 29.5 points + assists + rebounds (-120 via BetMGM)

Bridges has been playing great in January. He's averaging 23 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, and he's scored fewer than 20 points just twice this month. But tonight, he faces the No. 1 scoring defense in the NBA. Due for a poor performance, he's going to have it in Minnesota.

Earlier this season, Bridges played the Minnesota Timberwolves at home and ended with 22 points, three rebounds and four assists. He's played much better since then, but the Timberwolves are still one of the best defenses he's going to face this year. With how he's been playing, the over almost seems too easy. But Bridges has also made 2.9 three-pointers per game this month. That's well above his average of 2.3 per game this season. If the Timberwolves contain him from there, he may not even come close to this total.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Under 23.5 points + assists (-125)

Jackson Jr. has combined for 62 points in his past two games. On Thursday, he shot 15-of-23 from the field on his way to a 36-point performance. Yet, he's still only averaging 21.7 points per game this season. Even if he goes above that average tonight, he's averaging just 1.8 assists per game, so it's very unlikely he goes over this prop.

Jackson Jr. has three great assist performances this month, dishing out five twice and six once. But his other five performances saw him dish out one or fewer assists. With Pascal Siakam no longer on the Toronto Raptors, it's hard to use their season numbers to determine how opponents will play them. But after two big scoring performances and with poor assist numbers for the majority of the season, Jackson Jr.'s under is a safe play tonight.

Harrison Barnes Over 10 points (+110)

Barnes has scored in single digits in four of his past five games. Six games ago, he didn't score a single point in his 14 minutes on the court. Yet, he's still the Sacramento Kings' fifth-leading scorer averaging 10.6 points per contest. And tonight, the Atlanta Hawks have ruled out numerous key players. That likely means more playing time and opportunities for Barnes.

The Hawks have already ruled out De'Andre Hunter and Trae Young for tonight's game. That means that the Kings could end up winning this game in a blowout. If it starts to get out of hand, it offers the perfect opportunity for the Kings to get a slumping offensive weapon involved and confident. Barnes has shown throughout the season that he can hit this total and the law of averages always wins out eventually, even when a player is shooting as poorly as he has been.
