Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 35-56 (-22.31 units)
Jalen Brunson Under 38.5 points + assists (-115)
Brunson is the seventh-leading scorer in the NBA and he's dishing out the 13th-most assists per game this season. Yet, we're going to take his under tonight, even though he has a very good matchup against the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons are allowing 121.9 points per game this season, and Brunson scored 42 against them earlier this season. But this number is too high.
Brunson is averaging 27.6 points and 6.6 assists per game this year. That means he will have to do better than his already-high season averages to hit the mark tonight. While the Pistons' defense is bad, there's a chance they're so bad that Brunson doesn't play his usual minutes. Six points decided the first game between these two teams. It could be a blowout tonight. If that's the case, Brunson won't even come close to this number.
Mikal Bridges Over 25.5 points + rebounds (-120)
Bridges is averaging 21.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season. Despite failing to top his average points in three consecutive games, oddsmakers are still confident in him tonight against the Grizzlies and their solid defense.
What makes this such an enticing play is that Bridges can hit this over with just his points. He did just that in three games in February, and he’s pulled down at least four rebounds in his last three games. As long as he doesn't have a bad night shooting, like he did against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics, two of the best defensive teams in the league, Bridges will be just fine tonight.
Tyler Herro Over 2.5 three-pointers made (-115)
Herro is questionable for tonight's game. However, if he plays, he's going to have a great game from beyond the arc. The Kings are allowing their opponents to make the highest percentage of three-pointers in the league this season. Additionally, they rank in the league’s bottom-ten in points allowed from beyond the arc this season.
Herro is averaging 3.3 made three-pointers per game this season. He's attempted an average of 7.6 per game this month. He's made at least two shots from deep in all but one of his games since January 10th. With that high of a floor, this line is way too good to pass up.
