Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook | This Season: 19-26 (-7.26 units)

Jrue Holiday Over 4.5 assists (+110)

Holiday hasn’t been putting up great numbers this month. He’s averaging just 12 points and 3.4 assists per game. While his scoring is close to his season average of 12.3 points per game, his assists are 1.2 lower than his season average of 4.6.

Holiday is coming off a zero-assist performance, and he has recorded five assists just once in his last six games. Still, the Warriors allow 115.7 points per game, and the Boston Celtics are the eighth-best scoring team in the league. Though the Warriors allow the eighth-fewest assists per game, the Celtics will score a lot in this one, and Holiday will do a much better job passing than he did on Sunday.

Devin Vassell Over 19.5 points (-130)

The Spurs will likely get destroyed by the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, but someone has to score for them with Wembanyama out. The first-overall pick leads the team in scoring, averaging 19 points per game. Both Keldon Johnson and Vassell will step up in his absence, but Vassell is more likely to have a big night.

Vassell is in the middle of his worst-scoring month of the season. He’s averaging just 17.6 points per game, and if it weren’t for a 36-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers, he’d be averaging much less. However, tonight, there’s a good chance that he takes close to 20 shots. If he does, he will easily clear this over. After all, the Bucks allow 119.2 points per game, and the Spurs allow 122.2, so there’s no limit to how many points will be scored tonight.

Anfernee Simons Over 24.5 points (-115)

Simons only played one game before December. He scored 18 points. This month, he’s played six games. He’s scored at least 24 in five of them and at least 28 in four. The only game in which he failed to score at least 24, he played just 22 minutes.

Simons is averaging 34 minutes per game this month, and in every game he’s played at least 30 minutes, he’s attempted at least 20 shots. While his three-point percentage is down over the last three games, it’s unlikely he will fail to make a single shot from beyond the arc as he did on Sunday against the Warriors. If he had made just one three-pointer in that game, he’d have cleared this number.
