Friday's Best NBA Player Props
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Keyonte George Over 24.5 Points + Assists (-111)
After sitting out a recent game due to illness, Keyonte George has exploded over the past two contests. The Utah Jazz guard had 29 points and six assists against Denver and then 26 points and six assists vs. Boston. It's impressive that both of those efforts came against tougher opponents. George has gone over 24.5 points + assists in five of his last eight full games played, averaging 21.9 points and six assists in this stretch.
George is a good bet to keep it going against the Atlanta Hawks tonight at home. The Jazz will be without Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson and Kris Dunn on Friday. This should result in George being heavily involved offensively, just as he's been the past two games. He's playing big minutes and shooting it well from 3-point range lately.
Bruce Brown Over 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (-115)
Bruce Brown has moved into the Toronto Raptors' starting lineup in the past two games, and that should continue tonight. RJ Barrett has been ruled out due to personal reasons. Gary Trent Jr. is questionable to play with a groin injury, and Scottie Barnes remains day-to-day after a recent hand surgery. Brown had five assists and four rebounds in 33 minutes last game with Barrett out. He had 10 rebounds and three assists in the start prior across 38 minutes. The versatile guard/forward also scored 17 and 13 points in these past two contests, but we're just focusing on the rebounds + assists prop here.
Brown is now averaging 9.8 combined rebounds and assists over his last seven starts since joining the Raptors. He's also gone over 8.5 RA in six of those seven starts. Brown has played well since coming off a knee injury and his numbers noticeably increase when he starts. He's also in a bigger role while Barnes is out, let alone Barrett. Check the Raptors lineup and news before this tip, but if Brown is starting, he should cash, even in a tougher matchup vs. the Orlando Magic.
Miles Bridges Over 25+ Points (+165)
Let's go with a fun plus-money pick for our last NBA player prop tonight. Miles Bridges has been scoring at a high clip lately, with at least 24 points in four straight and 20+ points in six of the last seven games. The Charlotte Hornets forward has been hovering right around the 25-point mark, with 27, 24, 24 and 32 points in those past four contests. Bridges is also taking a ton of shots and playing heavy minutes for Charlotte right now.
Tonight's matchup against the Phoenix Suns is a tough one on paper, but Bridges still has the upside to score 25 or more. The Suns are on the second game of a back-to-back and could rest some players after just facing the Celtics and then taking on the Bucks this weekend. It's a classic sandwich spot on the road, and Bridges can stay hot. He's averaging 22.4 PPG at home this season.
