Friday's Best NBA Player Props

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook unless otherwise noted)

Stephen Curry Over 27.5 Points (-120)

Stephen Curry scored 14 points last game, one of his lowest-scoring outputs of the season. However, he only played 24 minutes in a comfortable Golden State Warriors victory and still shot 4-for-7 from three-point range. Let's count on him to bounce back and exceed his season-long 26.8 PPG average tonight at home.

This is a favorable uptempo matchup for Curry against the Indiana Pacers, who run at the second-fastest pace in the NBA. Last month, Curry lit up the Pacers for 42 points with 11 made three-pointers. Curry has also scored 42, 38, 12 and 39 points in his last four games vs. Indiana. The Pacers have been torched by opposing star scorers lately, allowing 46 points to DeMar DeRozan, 39 to Luka Doncic, 30 to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and 44 to Anthony Edwards over the past two weeks.

Despite a down scoring night last time out, Curry posted 31 and 27 points in the previous two games. He'll have a lot more shot attempts tonight than his nine in Wednesday's win. Plus, the Pacers should play the Warriors tight for a full allotment of minutes from Curry.

Santi Aldama Over 21.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

The Memphis Grizzlies continue to deal with a slew of injuries. In addition to the usual names, Desmond Bane, who recently returned to the lineup, is now doubtful to play on Friday. The Grizzlies might only have four to five legit NBA players active to get the bulk of minutes tonight. So, let's target one of them with Santi Aldama's combined points and rebounds.

Aldama was on fire in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors, scoring 27 points with nine rebounds and going 6-for-12 from three. He also had 14 points and nine rebounds in the previous outing. Aldama now has 36, 23 and 22 points + rebounds over the past three games. Tonight's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs may seem daunting, with Victor Wembanyama manning the paint. Yet, in two games against the Spurs this season, Aldama had 13 points/11 rebounds and 17 points/10 rebounds.

This is projecting up for Aldama, as he's only averaging 11.0 PPG and 5.7 RPG on the season. He's also cleared this 22.5 points+rebounds line just twice in his past nine games. However, with all of the Grizzlies’ injuries, Aldama should see an increased offensive role and 35 or so minutes. Plus, this is a pace-boost matchup with the Spurs playing at the third-fastest tempo.

Bruce Brown Over 10.5 Assists + Rebounds (+100 via BetMGM)

With Immanuel Quickley missing his second straight game, Bruce Brown is expected to start again tonight for the Toronto Raptors. In addition, R.J. Barrett and Scottie Barnes remain out for Toronto. With Quickley out last game, Brown started and had 11 combined assists and rebounds with six dimes and five boards. He's also averaging 10 assists + rebounds over his past eight starts, with at least nine in seven of those.

It's hard to get excited about much with the Raptors, but Brown's props have been cashing when he gets the opportunities. Considering Toronto’s absences, he should see 30 or so minutes as a starter tonight. This is also a pace-boost matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder playing at the eighth-fastest tempo in the NBA.
