Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

All odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

Jaden Ivey Over 3.5 rebounds (+126)

With the odds sitting at +126, I see this as one of the best values on the slate, and so does the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet with a +37 percent expected value.

With the Spurs currently having three players questionable to start tonight, they very well could be shorthanded, giving Detroit the upper hand for all different sorts of props. San Antonio is a pace-up spot for the Pistons, and these are two of the worst offenses in the league, giving plenty of opportunity for Ivey to pull down some boards.

Ivey has averaged just shy of four boards a game this season, so he’s due for some positive regression. I’ll put a single unit on this bet.

Buddy Hield Over 2.5 assists (+118)

All the focus and storyline are going to be on Phoenix after the trade deadline, but there is still massive value to be had in betting on the Pacers tonight, and my favorite one of those bets is Hield going over his assist total.

Indiana is one of the fastest-paced teams in the league, so the Pacers will have plenty of opportunity to score, despite facing a top-10 defense. Hield has been one of the most consistent facilitators, averaging 2.7 assists per game the entire season and throughout any time frame you can think of.

The Pacers are due for a bounce back with their losing ways of late. This will be a close game, and I am banking on Hield to step up. I’m putting one unit on this prop.

Gordon Hayward Over 13.5 points (-108)

Finally, I’m taking a prop that is too low based on the defense that Charlotte will face tonight.

The Celtics are already playing shorthanded and Jayson Tatum is currently questionable tonight with an illness. This is a solid spot for Charlotte to overperform. The go-to is LaMelo Ball, but his points prop is already high enough. Next up, Hayward.

The Celtics’ defense not only won’t be as strong, but Hayward has reached double-digit points in six of his last eight games, and he is more than capable of doing that again tonight. I’m putting a single unit on this bet.
