Today’s Best NBA Player Props and Picks

Klay Thompson OVER 2.5 assists (+150)

If there is any game where you want to bet the over-prop across the board, it’s the Warriors against the Spurs. You got the fastest pace team facing a top-10 ranked team in the pace of play with some sub-par defenses to go with that.

The fact that this prop sits at +150 baffles me. That is the number of assists Thompson has averaged the whole season. He’s had at least three assists in two of his last three games played and four out of his previous six.

Against the Spurs, Golden State should be scoring a lot. It should not be too hard for Klay to facilitate here, especially with the expected electric atmosphere.

Franz Wagner OVER 5.5 Ast + Reb (-135)

I don’t provide many combo props, but I really should consider the multi-facet ability to reach the over. He has shown the capability to reach the over with rebounds alone. While that may not be the case tonight, I think he’s in an ideal situation to excel in these two statistical categories.

One of Orlando’s strengths is on the glass, ranking 12th in rebound rate in the league. Utah also has a surprisingly weak defense, ranking 26th. The Magic should score at a high clip, and when Utah misses, Wagner should snag enough boards to get six-or-more combined assists and rebounds.

According to the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet, this is one the best plays with an 80 percent cover probability and a +39 percent expected value.

Jalen Green OVER 9.5 Reb + Ast

Once again, I can see Green excelling in one or either category here, so going with the combo bet.

Houston is among the best rebounding teams in the NBA, ranking third compared to Sacramento, coming in at 14th. Despite Houston’s bottom-of-the-barrel offense, they are against a similarly bottom-of-the-barrel defense. They should do better on the scoring front compared to their usual performance.

Finally, Houston is also in a solid pace-up spot, giving Green an extra opportunity to rack up those assists and rebounds.

Other Props

  • Mike Conley OVER 13.5 Pts + Reb (-105)
  • CJ McCollum UNDER 3.5 3pts (+105)
  • Jalen Brunson UNDER 24.5 points (-110)
