Today’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Here are my favorite plays for today.

Jeremy Sochan UNDER 8.5 Reb + Ast (-140)

I didn’t expect to be writing too much about Jeremy Sochan this season, but here we are.

While this prop is heavily juiced at -140, I still see it as a solid value because this number should not be at 8.5, especially against the Clippers. With Los Angeles’ solid rebounding rate and above-average defense, I figured this number to sit closer to six.

Sochan’s usage rarely goes above 20 percent and his minutes per game sit below 26 on the season. Not only is it a tougher matchup, but I simply don’t see the opportunity being there. In five out of his last six games, he’s gone under the combo prop and I expect him to follow suit tonight.

Dillon Brooks OVER 2.5 Assists (+150)

As a value play, I’m targeting the Memphis guard reaching three assists tonight.

While the Lakers are a pace down from Memphis, both teams still rank in the top 10 in the league. Combine that with the Lakers’ sub-par defense, and the opportunity is there, it’s just a matter of if Brooks and his teammates can capitalize.

His assists numbers have been down in the last two weeks at 1.4 per game, and that’s why I expect this number to sit so low at +150. But he’s averaged 2.6 per game this season so he is due for some positive regression.

CJ McCollum UNDER 31.5 Pts + Ast (-105)

Finally, we have me continuing to bet the under props on McCollum as he should come back down to earth. Now there are a few Pelicans that are questionable for tonight’s game so make sure to follow injury news. The more players ruled out, the less I like this play as McCollum would be expected to fill a bigger role.

While he’s averaged 21 points per game this season, that number has been near 28 over the last two weeks. His props are still inflated and in a matchup against Orlando with his recent play, I understand why it’s as high as it is, but it will be difficult to reach. The Pelicans might have trouble running their sets just in terms of figuring out who to go to, so I imagine McCollum will not only have trouble putting the ball in the hoop but facilitating as well.

Other Props:

Andrew Nembhard UNDER 20.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-125)

Bam Adebayo OVER 2.5 Assists (+110)

Michael Porter Jr. OVER 6.5 Reb + Ast (-125)
