Below are our favorite player prop bet picks for Monday’s slate of NBA games.

Marcus Smart OVER 8.5 Assists (+102)

The Celtics continue to look like a team that can appear in back-to-back NBA Finals. They have won six in a row and 10 out of their last 12 as they start to pull away with the top seed in the East.

Boston will finish up a two-game series against the Hornets. They are coming off a 122-106 win on Saturday and have a +51 point differential in the two matchups this year.

Smart has been heavily involved in those two games with 27 assists. Charlotte’s lack of pressure on defense should offer an excellent opportunity for Smart to get double digits again.

CJ McCollum UNDER 24.5 Points (-108)

The Cavaliers are in the mix in the Eastern Conference, but they’ve been streaky the last few weeks. The offense continues to struggle at times, but luckily they have a lockdown defense that’s allowed the fewest points per game.

Their perimeter defense is one of the best in the league. They’re allowing the fewest points, rebounds, and assists to shooting guards this season. With Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram out, they can put all of their focus on shutting down McCollum.

Bam Adebayo OVER 35.5 Points/Rebounds (-104)

The Heat are on a little run and have climbed back to above .500. Just like last year, the defense continues to be the core of this team, and so they are sixth in adjusted defensive ratings.

They’ll take on the Hawks and Adebayo has a favorable matchup today.

Atlanta’s lack of an interior defense has been a source of contention, as they sit in the bottom ten in offensive and defensive rebounding percentage.

Adebayo had 32 points and eight rebounds the last time these two teams met, so that combo is an excellent pick.
