Giannis Antetokounmpo over 31.5 points (-120)
The Bucks look like a contender early in the season as they enter today the only undefeated team in the league at 9-0. The defense is showing its dominance, allowing the fewest points in the league, and Giannis Antetokounmpo looks like he could grab another MVP. His strong presence on the boards has him second in the league in the rebound and the same in points.
They’re facing the Hawks, who are using their offensive talent to win but are just 20th in points allowed. A total over 30 is sometimes risky, but Giannis already has a 34-point performance against Atlanta this season.
Karl Anthony-Towns over 2.5 threes (-118)
The Timberwolves have hit a little skid recently, losing four of their last five games with the one win against the Rockets. They upgraded on defense with Rudy Gobert, and that’s worked, but the offense isn’t doing well right now.
They are going against the Knicks, another team that is playing well on offense but struggling on defense. They’re having trouble guarding against long-range shots and are allowing the most three-pointers per game. While Anthony Edwards’ value at the over is not good enough to take, Karl Anthony-Towns is perfect to grab.
Kevin Durant under 7.5 rebounds (-111)
The Nets’ off-the-court issues haven’t deterred them, and they have back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Kevin Durant has been the offensive force for this team, as his 32 points per game are third in the league.
His points prop is not what we’re going after here tonight. The Mavericks are one of the better teams, especially on the boards, as they allow the fewest rebounds to opponents this season. The Nets are already near the bottom in rebounds, and Durant’s set total is under his average this year. I’ll take the easy under all day.
