NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (3/7)
Welcome to a seven-game Thursday NBA slate! I always love this level of slate because it is a perfect level of value without oversaturation.
As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is to stay on top of the news. The next best is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value. Anyway, let's get into it.

Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 111-84
RJ Barrett Under 21.5 Points (-110 via DraftKings Sportsbook)
RJ Barrett has consistently been scoring over 20 points over his last five games, but if you look at the season as a whole, you'll realize it's a bit of an outlier. The Duke product has averaged just over 19 points a game on the season as a whole, and he's in a position tonight to fall under that.
On the road going across the country, or two countries I guess, is never a great situation to start. Phoenix has allowed the second-fewest points per game to opposing small forwards. While I know Barrett is more of a combo guard/forward, Phoenix should defend well. The Suns’ defense has been top-10 of late and I am happy diving in on the under.
Jonathan Kuminga Under 16.5 Points (-104 via FanDuel Sportsbook)
If you tailed yesterday, you will have followed my miss on taking Jonathan Kuminga's points under. However, we're trusting the process and going right back to the well on a back-to-back with the Warriors' forward.
Facing Chicago is the team you want to face when diving in on unders. The Bulls will slow down the pace and play decent, consistent defense. Considering Kuminga has averaged 15.6 points per game, I will continue taking his unders on his inflated points total until I'm proven otherwise.
Jalen Duren Over 26.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-110 via DraftKings Sporstbook)
Projected over 30 here for this combo prop, it feels weird to be excited about betting an over prop for a Detroit player, but here we are. Considering the total is around 216 here, you may think I'm crazy. This is a clear zag-when-they-zig situation that offers clear value to the over.
Brooklyn’s defense is 19th-ranked on the season, allowing over 20 points a game to opposing centers. I'm not saying Detroit's offense is exactly electric. Yet, considering they’re out-ranking Brooklyn in rebound rate this year and Duren is averaging over a double-double a game, there is plenty of opportunity for the Pistons center to go over here.
