Today’s Best NBA Player Prop Picks

Daniel Gafford UNDER 11.5 points (-125)

This might be one of the least exciting prop bets I’ve ever made, but sometimes winning is boring.

Washington is facing off against the slowest team in the league in Dallas. Betting unders in Mavs games is historically profitable, and I will not stop now. While the Mavericks’ defense isn’t all too scary, I am not too confident in the production of the 21st-ranked Wizards offense tonight.

Gafford has averaged 10 points a game in his last two weeks of play. That’s still a number due for negative regression, considering he’s averaged less than eight points per game on the season. Throwing down one unit here.

Marcus Morris Sr. OVER 18.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-105)

Morris is bound to do quite well with the combo prop in one of these offensive categories, right?

This is a big pace-up spot in the battle of Los Angeles’ – the Lakers rank 18 spots ahead of the Clippers in the pace of play. The Lakers’ defense also has nothing scary enough to make me feel like the Clippers will struggle to score. I also expect the Clippers to win the rebound battle considering the Lakers’ struggles on the glass.

Morris has been underperforming of late, averaging lower points, rebounds, and assists of late than his seasonal averages. He’s due for positive regression in all three categories, and I see this game as a solid bounce-back spot for him. I will be betting one unit on this prop.

Julius Randle UNDER 41.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120)

On the other side of the combo prop, you have Julius Randle, who I expect to struggle tonight in all three stats.

Taking on Cleveland is tough in nearly every category. They will slow down the game with the second-best defense to go with it. They rebound well and can score. I don’t see Julius Randle having a breakout game tonight.

This is one of the best plays on the slate tonight, with the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet having this under as a +40 percent expected value. I must go with the computer, throwing one unit on this prop.
