NBA Player Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (11/25)

After stuffing yourself with a Thanksgiving meal, I am sure you’re ready to get back to betting on the NBA again. With a loaded slate, opportunities abound to bet player props. Ain’t nothing like Black Friday when it comes to celebrating some deals. Here are my favorite player props for today.

Josh Giddey OVER 5.5 assists (-140)

I don’t like to throw the “L” word around all too much, but this one feels like a downright lock.

The books expect this prop to hit with its juiced -140 odds. Chicago and Oklahoma City both rank in the top 15 in pace of play. Giddey’s facilitating has only improved this season. Over the last two weeks, he’s averaged 6.7 assists per game, while over the last week, that number is at 8.0.

I’m not expecting his assist rate to stay that high for the rest of the season, but I’m still riding the hot wave here. Giddey is a proven facilitator who should shine tonight.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 16.5 points (+100)

In going against the top offense in the country, Sabonis will need to step up for Sacramento to keep up in this game.

A lot lines up for Sabonis in this matchup. Going against a below-average defense is a good start, and Boston ranks 20th. The Celtics’ rebound rate is also 23rd in the nation, meaning Sabonis should have some second-chance opportunities.

Sabonis performed well during the Kings’ winning streak, tallying a handful of 20+ games. I can easily see him repeating tonight. The value offered at +100 is incredible.

Rudy Gobert OVER 13.5 points (-120)

Gobert has recently hit a bit of a dip, averaging 11 points a game over the last week of play. Not only is he due for some positive regression, but Charlotte is the perfect opportunity for just that.

PJ Washington and Mason Plumlee will have difficulty stopping Gobert and Anthony Towns in the frontcourt. It may not be the easiest prop to back, as Gobert’s scoring isn’t the most dependable statistic.

Despite his prop odds sitting at -120, there is still a solid value. The BettingPros Betting Prop Cheat Sheet tags this as one of the better plays on the slate with a 73 percent cover probability and a +37 percent expected value.

Other Props:

  • Gordon Hayward OVER 1.5 three-pointers (+100)
  • Jarred Vanderbilt UNDER 2.5 assists (-120)
  • Ben Simmons OVER 11.5 points (-105)
