Anthony Edwards Under 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (-110)
Anthony Edwards has knocked down five three-pointers in each of his first three games. Despite this consistency, bettors can get a price of -110 for him to hit four shots from beyond the arc tonight. Edwards is going to cool off eventually. After all, he only averaged 2.4 made three-pointers per game last season. But is tonight the night he reverts to his average?
The Mavericks rank 11th in the league, allowing just 12.0 three-pointers per game this season. They're holding their opponents to just 32.7% shooting from deep so far. Last year, Edwards made more than three three-pointers against the Mavericks in just one of his four regular-season games against them. In the postseason, he topped the number twice in five attempts. This is a bad matchup for Edwards.
Brandon Ingram Over 4.5 Assists (-110)
Brandon Ingram dished out six assists in Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. That performance matched his total from the first two games combined. Tonight, he takes on a Warriors team allowing only 22.0 assists per game to start the year. That ranks sixth in the league.
While this matchup may worry some, it seems as though Ingram is moving in the right direction. Last season, he averaged 5.7 assists per game, and the Warriors gave up 26.7 per contest. Ingram only faced the Warriors once last season, managing just one assist. Yet, even with so much against Ingram, getting this number below his expected season average in a potentially high-scoring game is too good to pass up.
De'Aaron Fox 25+ Points (+100)
If you're looking to take a few players to hit their point totals tonight, take a look at the Kings' roster. They're going up against a Utah Jazz team allowing 121.0 points per game this season, which is fourth-worst in the league thus far.
After scoring just 15 points in his first game of the season, De’Aaron Fox has combined for 52 points over his last two games. He has a season-high of 28. In his last game, he scored 24 against the Trail Blazers, a team allowing just 114.8 points per game to start the year. Last season, Fox averaged 26.6 points per game. His total is set at 23.5 tonight, but the price is -115 or worse at most sportsbooks. Therefore, we'll take the extra point for +100.
