NBA Player Prop Bets, Odds & Picks: Tuesday (3/11)

There are only four NBA games tonight, though one of those matchups is huge, as the Milwaukee Bucks visit the Indiana Pacers. How will Damian Lillard perform in that game? In Cleveland, how will D'Angelo Russell perform when his Brooklyn Nets take on the Cleveland Cavaliers? How will Yves Missi fare on the boards when his New Orleans Pelicans host the Los Angeles Clippers?

Here are the three best NBA player props for Tuesday, March 11th.

Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 43-55 (-6.25 units) | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook

Damian Lillard Over 6.5 Assists (-115)

Damian Lillard is averaging 7.1 assists per game this season, but he's struggled since the All-Star break. He has dished out six or fewer assists in seven consecutive games and managed four or fewer assists five times during that stretch. But this is a player who averaged 7.6 assists per game in February, so it's just a matter of time before he gets back on track.

He faces the Pacers tonight, a team he has been successful against this season. He's only faced them twice, and while he dished out just five assists in one of those meetings, he dished out 13 in the other. The Pacers rank 15th in the league, allowing 26.7 assists per game, so this is an average matchup in the grand scheme of things. While it would be better to back Lillard to break out of his funk in a great matchup, he's already shown he can have great games against this team.

D'Angelo Russell 6+ Assists (+125)

D’Angelo Russell has recorded seven assists in back-to-back games. He hadn't registered that many assists in a game since January 29th against the Charlotte Hornets. Is Russell finding his rhythm with the Nets? Or were his last two performances flukey? I'm going to back Russell to stay hot tonight even though he's going against one of the best teams in the league.

The Cavaliers are allowing the eighth-fewest assists per game, but Russell has had some success against them this season. He's dished out five assists both times he played them, once with the Brooklyn Nets and once with the Los Angeles Lakers. While you could take him to record five assists again tonight, the price is -135. I'd rather take the extra assist for the better price, especially since Russell has been playing particularly well of late.

Yves Missi Over 7.5 Rebounds (-120)

Yves Missi has only faced the Clippers once this season. In that game, he pulled down nine rebounds and recorded five blocks in 35 minutes. The Clippers are allowing the ninth-most rebounds per game this season, giving up 51.4 per game. However, they've been really good on the boards in their last three, allowing an average of just 45.3.

Missi is averaging eight rebounds per game this season, so he'll need to get right to his season average to hit this over. The worrying part is that he recorded seven or fewer rebounds in five consecutive games before Sunday's nine-rebound performance against the Grizzlies. I'll back him in hopes he has broken out of his slump and will take advantage of a decent matchup he's been successful in already this season.
