Jimmy Butler Over 18.5 Points (-120)

The Miami superstar has started the season a tad cold. Jimmy Butler did not score a field goal in the first five quarters for the Heat. If not for a high volume of free-throw attempts against Charlotte on Saturday, it's very possible he would have begun the campaign scoring fewer than 19 points in two straight contests.
The Heat face a favorable opponent tonight in the Detroit Pistons. However, do not let last season fool you. Detroit took Boston to their limit on Saturday, nearly securing a victory against the defending champs.
Butler finished Saturday's contest against the Hornets with 22 points and was able to right the ship after an abysmal opening performance. The veteran forward should see at least 34-37 minutes tonight in what could be a genuine shootout between two formidable opponents.
Butler has cleared 18.5 points in three of the previous four contests against the Pistons. We feel there's a high probability this will be the fourth out of five.

Christian Braun Over 15.5 Points + Rebounds (-113)

Christian Braun has taken on an increased role this season and performed quite admirably over the first two contests. With Kentavious Caldwell-Pope leaving for Orlando in free agency, Braun is getting the opportunity to show he deserves a starting spot in the NBA.
Over the first two games, Braun is averaging 13.5 points, with seven rebounds, and has cleared 15.5 points + rebounds in each contest. The Denver guard played at least 29 minutes in each game and owns an outstanding 57.1% field-goal rate to start the season.
Braun faces a Toronto team this evening allowing 109.5 points to opponents over the first two games. In their last contest, the Raptors allowed over 50 points to three Timberwolves guards.

Derrick White Over 16.5 Points (-122)

Derrick White is resuming exactly where he left off last season, as one of the most underrated, efficient and productive guards in the NBA. The impact on the defensive end alone cannot be overstated.
White matches up against a Milwaukee team tonight who are in desperate need of a big win following two losses in a row, after securing a victory against Philadelphia on 10/23.
The Boston guard has yet to score fewer than 17 points in all three games to open the season. This Bucks defense allowed a combined 60 points yesterday to Brooklyn’s starting guards. This appears to be a smash spot for White against a Milwaukee team that does not focus heavily on stopping opponents.
In three games this season, the veteran guard is averaging 20 points on 52.6% shooting from the field. He has not attempted fewer than 11 field goals in each contest.

Julian Champagnie Over 8.5 Points (-130)

Julian Champagnie has stepped in for the injured Devin Vassell and has performed masterfully. In two games for the Spurs, the young wing player has not seen below 25 minutes of court time. For the time being, he looks to have carved out a solid starting role until the inevitable return of Vassell.
Champagnie is averaging 15 points to start the season on 55% shooting from the field on 20 attempts. The points are what we are looking for and the number of field-goal attempts is what brings confidence to this selection. His eight or more attempts in each game, combined with the high field-goal percentage, make this a great spot to cash in on.
In San Antonio's last game on Saturday, the second-year two-guard scored 12 points against Houston on 50% shooting from the field, with two three-pointers. Champagnie has connected on six three-pointers in two games and is knocking them down at a 50% clip.

Rui Hachimura Over 14.5 Points (+100)

Rui Hachimura has entered this season scorching and has shown he is ready to be an impactful piece with the success of the Lakers. Los Angeles is 3-0 to start the campaign. Aside from the production from the team's two top stars, Hachimura and Austin Reaves have played a tremendous role in these wins.
Coming into the season, there was, and still is to some degree, a fair amount of uncertainty circulating the Lakers. Will LeBron James finally succumb to the wrath of Father Time? Can head coach JJ Redick prove to be successful with no prior head coaching experience? Well, in the early stages, it seems things are going just fine.
The team is undefeated and faces the Phoenix Suns for the second time in four nights. We couldn't be more excited for Hachimura to clear 14.5 points. The Los Angeles forward has exceeded this total in three out of four games this season and has not attempted fewer than 12 attempts in any game.
Hachimura fell just short of this total on Friday. However, with the Lakers playing three games in four nights, they may choose to limit minutes for Anthony Davis and LeBron James to preserve health for the long season. This would open up scoring opportunities for Hachimura.
Enjoy the games tonight and best of luck with your picks.
